Our Dog Bailey-UPDATE!

Thank you all soooo much for praying for Bailey! We haven't gotten the tests back for the cyst that was on her stomach yet, but we'll probably get them somewhere around Tuesday. The only thing now is that she is coughing a lot and can't eat anything otherwise she throws up...:(. She just keeps doing this weird coughing/gagging thing. We took her to the vet and they said that they thought it might just be from the tube they had to put down her throught when they did the surgery and hopefully will soon get better! So please just keep on prayin'!! :) Thank you very very much!

ONE MORE UPDATE*** Bailey is all better now and is doing wonderfully!!!! Thank you all for praying, it sure helped!! :)

Our Dog Bailey-please pray!

Our dog Bailey just had a small surgery. She had a small cyst on her stomach (which we thought was just a mole) but started getting bigger and then looked infected. We took her to the vet and they just had it removed and they stitched up the cut and now she is home. They are now doing tests on the cyst to make sure that it doesn't have any cancer in it. Please pray that she won't have any cancer and that she won't try to lick her wound (because otherwise we have to put a cone on her which she hates!). Thank you so much!!!! :)

Jumping!

Have you ever tried going over a jump on a horse? Well, I have with my horse and some of my friend's horses. The tallest jump I've ever gone over is probably about 4 feet high. This year I decided to go over some jumps again but i thought I should start with a small one (about one and a half feet tall). Well, there was a pole that wasn't completely underneath the jump, but a little in front of the jump. Summer (my horse) wasn't ready for it and thought she had to jump higher than she had to and I wasn't leaning forward. I flew onto Summer's neck and held on as tight as I could while she cantered after she landed the jump! I fell off of her and pulled her bridle right off with me! She just stopped and started eating the grass while I quickly got up and made sure I was alright!!!! So, some advice for you if you decide to go over a jump, LEAN FORWARD!!!!!!! And make sure there is nothing around the jump that makes the horse that you are riding misjudge it!

Flicka

I don't know if any of you have seen the movie Flicka, but if you haven't you really should! I have it downloaded onto my ipod!!!! It is a movie about a girl who finds a wild horse but her dad doesn't want her to keep it and she struggles to keep the horse. It is rated PG and is a really fun family movie that makes you want to jump on a horse and ride for life!!!!!

Puppies, oh soo cute but soo much work!!

All puppies are incredibly cute!!! :) They are just so hard to stand when you see them at the pet store, see a "PUPPIES FOR SALE" sign by a house and get to stop by and see them, or just getting to play with one of your friends puppies. But let me tell you, puppies are A LOT of work!!!! If you want to get a puppy, make sure that you are ready for all of the work you will have to do. Everything pays off in the end when you see your cute, little, fluffy puppy snuggled up next to you!!! One of the biggest things is potty training. Lots of puppies, especially from a pet store, think that they can go to the bathroom wherever they want! This is a very big problem, and they best thing to do is to let them out every 15 minutes and even keep them on a retractable leash which will give them lots of room to move, but not enough to sneak into some corner and do their duty. A great thing to do is to also get a kennel. This will let you let your dog go somewhere that is safe when you really can't do anything with him/her. The kennel is your friend!!!!! hehe
